Adventure, culture, nature, mountain and biblical association are all part of this wonderful journey across the Sinai. From Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine's Monastery, to the ancient temple of Serabit el Khadem, encompassing historical sites including chalcolithic tombs and inscriptions of the Ancient Egyptians. New to this journey is a two day camel trek with Bedouin from the Alaygaat tribe, trekking from the west of Sinai towards El-Tih, the huge mountain range that separates the north and south. A very remote area, through which few people venture to encounter some of the most spectacular desert scenery.

Our annual Summer Expedition open to 16 – 23 year olds, is a fantastic opportunity and challenge combining local project work with the semi nomadic Bedouin tribes; leadership development; remote survival skills; mountain and camel trekking. Sinai's history and natural beauty combine to justify this unique part of the world's description as the place “Where the Heavens touch the Earth". The 100km treks follow the ancient trade route from the Red Sea to Mt Sinai. It passes through stunningly beautiful desert areas before reaching the high mountains. This truly is a life changing experience for anyone to wishing to raise funds for a charity close to their heart.

Both 5 and 8 day journeys are definitely not for the faint-hearted - most require a reasonable level of fitness and determination. You will often find your mental and physical resources tested to the full, although everybody who has gone on these events has agreed that it is one of the best experiences of their life.

We have sixteen years of experience working in this remarkable land and during that time we have set up many different journeys. We take many school journeys with children of all ages and some as young as eight! We have also run organised academic research projects, medical expeditions, supported BBC & Sky Television documentaries, planned journeys for the deaf & hearing impaired, and very personal journeys for groups of friends and families.
