Many years ago Wind Sand & Stars fell in love with the Sinai and its people.

The Sinai has been described as the place where the “heavens touch the earth”. Its history and natural beauty combine to make it a unique part of the world. I have journeyed many times into the plains and mountains of South Sinai, Egypt, and been welcomed into the homes of the Bedouin families. Always there is something new to learn from the land and from the people.

In recent years we have chosen places and people we love to work with and expanded our journeys including the Egyptian Western Desert, Sri Lanka and Pilgrim Spain.

We hope you enjoy discovering the endless possibilities these unique lands have to offer.
